Overview

The Dark Lens Studio provides organization-operated desktop workflows for authorized operators of the BRAIN, SPACE, ANCIENT, OCEAN, VANISHING, and DISCIPLINE channels. Each uploader connects only its selected channel operator’s TikTok account and transfers owner-approved media to TikTok’s inbox or draft flow. The operator must manually finish editing and publication inside TikTok.

TikTok Login Kit and information used

The uploader uses TikTok Login Kit for authorization. The user.info.basic permission provides basic TikTok account identity and profile information so the operator can display and verify the authorized account. The video.upload permission is used only to transfer operator-selected, owner-approved video and related upload information to TikTok’s inbox or draft flow.

How information is used

Information is used only to authenticate the selected channel operator, verify the connected TikTok account, transfer owner-approved media to TikTok’s inbox or draft workflow, and check the status of that transfer.

No Direct Post or automatic publication

The uploaders do not use TikTok Direct Post. They do not publish automatically, schedule publication, delete or replace posts, or cross-post media. Public editing and publication require a separate manual action by the authorized operator inside TikTok.

Storage and security

Each channel’s account identity, authorization credentials, tokens, upload queue, approvals, and files remain isolated from every other channel. Credentials and authorization tokens are not displayed publicly or shared between channels. The Dark Lens Studio does not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Sharing

Information is transmitted to TikTok only as required to authorize the selected account and perform an operator-requested inbox or draft transfer. Information is not sold or shared with unrelated third parties.

Retention and deletion

Local authorization data is retained only while the integration is in use. An authorized operator may revoke access through TikTok’s connected-app settings and may request deletion of locally retained authorization data through the support contact below.
